Augustus, 27 BC-AD 14. Sestertius (Orichalcum, 35 mm, 32.27 g, 12 h), CA coinage, uncertain mint in Syria, after 23 BC. IMP•AVGVST - TR•POT Bare head of Augustus to right. Rev. CIVIS across field within linear border; all within oak wreath; OB above and SERVATOS within double line outer border below. BMC 738. RIC 549. RPC I 4101. Very rare. Somewhat rough and the reverse double struck, otherwise, good fine.
